No pictures, hence the words ...

For the first time in the history of this blog, I am actually typing an entry full of words instead of pictures!!! I honestly never did like the hassle of having to type in so much at one go, but I suppose it's a good way to relieve stress and just let go ... Haha, one might wonder, I'm at work facing the computer like at least 7 hrs + a day & I come home & still use the computer!!! There goes my eyes ....

It's amazing how one can pick up lessons along the journey of life, even in somewhere such as the SAF .... How should I view NS? A burden, a waste of time? Or an opportunity to pick up some lessons & skills along the way ... I suppose this has been something that I've been considering for a while, & I can conclude that there's this one most important thing that I've picked up (or at least attempted to) : People Relations.

It stems from having to deal with many different assortments of characters & all, even my colleagues are so diverse with different perspectives, cultural sense, upbringing etc ... I'd have to admit it really was, has & will still continue to be a challenge for someone like myself who tends to be more introverted ...

Hmm, things have been happening lately & I do hope that the situation will turn out for the better! There's so much to do after NS, & I sometimes just can't wait to get it done with ... So that's like a summary of what's been going through my head lately .... hmm, you do learn something useful in the army ... (Or at least I feel that it applies to me to a certain extent)

Yay! AEWF is round the corner in 1 wk's time! Coming to this stage reminds me how fast time has passed, sometimes it gets quite bad tt I lose track of how long ago I've graduated from JC (silly right?) hahaha ... It's like wow! May 07 already & the next batch of folks are leaving in a couple of months to the US & UK ... Time really flies ... Repeated: Time REALLY flies, prob. when you're in army ...

Well, Id like to type more, but my fingers dont seem to be responding anymore, at least they have more stamina now as I use them more often at work to type stuff ... Yeah, alright then, I gtg sleep now with an early day tomorrow ... Take care & God Bless =D

Reminisence of Then & Now

This is supposed to be a photo blog, but ... since now I have NO photos to share ... I thought it would be nice to share some photos down memory lane that invokes special memories ...

First stop, we have the photos from my college days, back when people didn't seem to groan too much about the perils of army life, when people seemed to be as quirky as ever ... :

Firstly, we have the ever nonsensical Ernest Xue Ren Kai, who's Friday nights with him at supper seems to have paid off :p . Why, I should put up a tribute to Ernest in view of the moments of pure shit sharing! Keep it up man! That's what makes Ernest ... well, Ernest (Maybe not in the literal sense). Hmm ... Here we have him in his college days with his college hair-do, giving his thumbs up for a pair of tenor underwear .... How delightful ... & guess who he moved to tears? :

How emotional ... guess the underwear had better uses than a small pouch used to store items ...

Moving on ... SO what did Ernest get in return from his ever delightful juniors?? See here ----->

HE got nipped in the bud by Sin Ming Long & a couple of other ppl who just wanted to tau pok him , just look at ML, enojoying his moment with that grin .. & here's the man of the day, getting his well deserved award ...

& so that sums up our little story of Ernest ... Tune in for more stories as I unravel pictures ....
